Travis Peak Church of Christ supports and/or helps support 15 Missionaries around the world. WORLD BIBLE SCHOOL Link to: World Bible SchoolTravis Peak is very much involved with World Bible School. Some 8,000 Intro Lessons have been mailed through the efforts of our members. We know of two congregations that have been formed in Nigeria because of our efforts. The church at Usaka Eluogu and Ankpa Kogi state. Each of these congregations now have approximately 25 Christians meeting at each location. This is a method that we use for going into all the world with the Gospel of Christ. NIGERIA Chinedum Nwankwo, Osita Akohwu, Jacob Ackinefu, Joshua Kanu, John Ehimiyein, Rolan Akhafa, Emmanuel Aigbati, Nsebar Udofia, Alidu Isegeh, Peter Kelinde Akhigbe Chinedum Nwankwo is a preacher in Nigeria who works with our World Bible School Students. He travels many miles to check on various congregations and sends many names and addresses of students that wish to receive WBS lessons. He follows up on the students and works with them on a one to one basis and has Baptized many of our students. He works closely with the church at Usaka Eluogu and Ankpa Kogi. The church at Ankpa Kogi was started as a result of a Travis Peak student who lived near Chinedum. He was baptized and decided to move on to another area of Nigeria. There was no Church of Christ there, so he started one and today the congregation has about 25-30 members.Friday Ugorji. (Friday is a recent convert who is attending school to become a Gospel preacher). The other men in Africa work in various areas with follow-up in WBS and other areas. The work in Nigeria and Africa is having a lot of growth. CHINA George Tien is one of the few ministers that is always welcome to China. He conducts campaigns there frequently and is responsible for many souls having been led to Christ. Travis Peak contributes to his work on a monthly basis. THAILAND Laura Allen is working with the missionaries in Thailand. She teaches their children and helps spread the Gospel to many people in Thailand. Travis Peak contributes to her work monthly. INDIA Paul Renganathan is a very hard working missionary in India. He is a native of south India and works with WBS. He travels all over India seeking to save the lost with the gospel. Paul and his helpers operate a preaching school, hospital, orphan home. They are always inventing new ideas and new ways to spread the Word. Paul and his crew are very ambitious. He reports on the work there often and makes a visit to Travis Peak each year. Travis Peak supports this work monthly. RUSSIA Dale Mitchell is an evangelist that goes to Russia every year. He has reported many good results. Travis Peak supports this work each year. CHILDREN’S HOMES Casa Sonrisa is a Children’s Home in Torreon, Mexico. Cherokee Children’s Home is located in Cherokee, Texas. Sunny Glen Children’s Home is located near San Benito, Texas. Travis Peak supports these homes each month. OTHER MISSIONS World Christian Broadcasting is located in Franklin, Tennessee. They broadcast the Gospel to many countries that have no other facilities and/or countries that do not permit missionaries to bring the Word to their country. Many have been saved through this outreach. Travis Peak supports this work monthly. Herald of Truth is located in Abilene, Texas. They carry the Gospel and benevolence throughout the world and does many contacts. This is a great work and Travis Peak supports it monthly.
